How’s the view to the rear? Any blind spots?

Once you’re comfortably seated, look at the rear-view mirror(s). Do they give you a clear unobstructed view to the rear? If not, adjust the mirrors. Many newer vehicles have power side mirrors. This is a good time to check out the adjustment mechanism, which is usually located on the left armrest, the dash or the center console. Rotate both mirrors through their full range of adjustment. If the power adjuster doesn’t work, make a note of it. Once you’ve got the mirrors adjusted, look around. Note whether there are serious blind spots in any direction. If so, keep this in mind when making lane changes and turns. Of course, if any of these blind spots make you feel extremely uncomfortable or unsafe, maybe this isn’t the model for you.
